Lorraine Kess, known by every kid as “Ms. Rain”, co-owner of Your Kids Place LLC and the Director at Little and Weber Elementary.
Lorraine has been in the field of professional child care going on 15 years but has used her natural skills with kids since her first babysitting job at age 11. Having worked in the classroom and before and after school care has allowed for her ever-growing knowledge and skills with her children. Lorraine also has 10+ years of experience with kids with developmental disabilities.
Ms. Rain resides in Westminster Co with her loving husband Mr. Micah, 5 beautiful daughters, and 2 fur baby. Lorraine along with her mother Paula have built Your Kids Place from the ground up with 2 locations in Jefferson County schools, with more to follow. The end goal is to provide quality, personal, hands-on child care to all parents before and after school in a multitude of schools at a cost all parents can count on.
Ms. Kathy is our group leader at Little and Weber! She has been working with kids for over 20 years and is also a paraprofessional at Lukas Elementary. Ms. Kathy is a loving mother to two amazing kids, a proud grandma to three spunky grandkids, and is happily engaged. She loves making crafts out of everyday items, especially when she gets to be creative and messy with the kids. We are so happy to have Ms. Kathy as part of our amazing team!
Ms. Holly has been part of the YKP family for four years! She loves being outside, caring for her 10 chickens, traveling, and spending time with her family. She especially enjoys family game nights, seeing new places together, and making fun messes along the way. Her favorite part about working with kids is watching them grow and become amazing people. Ms. Holly is also currently going to school to become a pediatric nurse. We are so lucky to have her at YKP!
